A Book Lover’s Favorite Book Series

In honor of National Book Lover’s Day, I’ve put together a list of my favorite book series. These are Favorite Book Seriesbooks I go back to over and over again because I can’t get enough.

Favorite Book SeriesFavorite Book Series

Harry Potter

J.K. Rowling

This will always be my favorite series.  I started reading them when they were first released and reread them to this day.  The characters have stayed with me since I opened the first book so many years ago.

Favorite Book Series

From Manhattan with Love

Sarah Morgan

This is a series of quickly read light romance novels. They are light-hearted, sweet reads, focusing on strong, female characters. If you are looking for something you can dip into by the pool or on the beach, these are great!

Favorite Book Series

Women’s Mystery Club

James Patterson

James Patterson’s series focuses on four women in various stages of their life, all from a criminal justice backgrounds.  These are strong women with a love of justice. These mysteries will draw you in and keep you up until 3 am so you don’t miss a thing.

Favorite Book Series

Body Movers

Stephanie Bond

These comedic mysteries keep you coming back for more. The main character, Carlotta Wren, can’t catch a break and finds herself stumbling into murder, mysteries, and hilariously, awkward situations.

Favorite Book Series

Stephanie Plum Novels

Janet Evanovich

Similar to the Body Movers series, these novels showcase a spunky main character who solves mysteries in an incredibly unconventional way.  She’s witty and full of bad luck, but is determined to make the most of her current situation as a female bounty hunter with absolutely zero experience. There are currently 25 books in the series.

Favorite Book Series

Lizzy and Diesel Series

Janet Evanovich

Another win from Janet Evanovich, these feature a pastry chef, a monkey, magical stones, a villain, and a heaping helping of sexual tension and intriguing.

Favorite Book Series

Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter

Laurell K. Hamilton

Mystery, magic, murder, super naturals, violence, romance, sex.  This series goes from 0 to 60 pretty quickly. There are currently 26 books in the series. Anita Blake has evolved as a character so much over the 26 books, but I have loved her every step of the way.  These is definitely an “over 18” series, so be prepared for plenty of adult themes, especially as the series progresses.
